Kevin Beeson, Supervisor
The Supervisor’s responsibility is to guide all of the township offices in working together collaboratively and in the best interest of the citizens. The Supervisor creates (with assistance from the Clerk) the monthly agenda for the township Board of Trustees. The Supervisor is also responsible for appointing candidates to various township commissions. The Supervisor serves as personnel director and serves as the point of contact between hourly staff and the elected officers.

Andi Whitmore, Clerk
The Clerk’s duties include keeping an accurate record of all registered voters in the township. The Clerk runs all elections. State law empowers the Clerk with the archiving and care of documents such as contracts, ordinances, and resolutions. The Clerk posts official board meeting notices, then transcribes and publishes the minutes of the township board meetings. The Pine River Township Clerk is the official historian of the township. The Clerk maintains lots and names of owners of parcels at the township cemetery.

Todd Moeggenborg, Treasurer
The Pine River Township Treasurer is responsible for all funds belonging to the township including the General Fund, Fire Fund, and Public Works Fund. The Treasurer’s duties include the collection and recording of all taxes. By law, the township Treasurer is responsible for all disbursements and deposits. He also prepares financial reports, balances, and reconciles all tax and bank accounts.

David Best, Trustee
Trustees are in a position of public trust with the responsibility of helping to set policy and oversee the fiscal health of the township. They are obligated to attend Township Board meetings and to participate in decisions and deliberations. Like the Supervisor, Clerk, and Treasurer, they are members of the Pine River Township Board. They have full voting privileges in governmental decisions falling within the jurisdiction of the Township Board. Trustees do not have statutory duties in addition to those described above. However, they are frequently given additional duties and responsibilities as a result of Township Board action.
