Andi Whitmore, Clerk

The Clerk’s duties include keeping an accurate record of all registered voters in the township.  The Clerk runs all elections.  State law empowers the Clerk with the archiving and care of documents such as contracts, ordinances, and resolutions.  The Clerk posts official board meeting notices, then transcribes and publishes the minutes of the township board meetings.  The Pine River Township Clerk is the official historian of the township.  The Clerk maintains lots and names of owners of parcels at the township cemetery.

David Best, Trustee

Trustees are in a position of public trust with the responsibility of helping to set policy and oversee the fiscal health of the township.  They are obligated to attend Township Board meetings and to participate in decisions and deliberations.  Like the Supervisor, Clerk, and Treasurer, they are members of the Pine River Township Board.  They have full voting privileges in governmental decisions falling within the jurisdiction of the Township Board.  Trustees do not have statutory duties in addition to those described above.  However, they are frequently given additional duties and responsibilities as a result of Township Board action.
